Hello from Jerusalem! Well, it’s officially real: I am back in Israel, unpacked and living in my new apartment on Derech Hevron. It’s been a surreal few days: orientation, meetings, choosing classes, taking Hebrew placement exams and learning my new neighborhood. We’re about a 15 minute bus ride from the center of Jerusalem (Ben Yehuda Street and King … here … Read more a few days ago, Semester 3 has officially begun and we saw the transition happen beautifully over the last week.
The changeover, as expected, was a time for everyone to see familiar faces and just have a great time catching up, laughing, and sharing stories. Several activities were available simultaneously at the Beit She’an youth hostel: a
