Opening Ceremony and Kotel

Posted in Arad, Bat Yam, FZY, Jerusalem, Photos, Section 1, Section 2, Section 3 on 04. Sep, 2010

What an amazing night! For those of you who didn’t catch the live broadcast, the Year Course opening ceremony took plase Thursday night in Jerusalem. All 320 Year Course participants and the entire staff gathered on the Jerusalem campus to shmooze, eat, and hear some very inspirational speeches (some given by our very own chanichim).

After the ceremony, wearing our new Year Course t-shirts, we made our way to the Kotel. For some it was their first time, for others, their second or third or even tenth time.  No doubt about it, for ALL of them, it was an emotional and memorable experience. Each chanich had personal time to spend as they wished at the Kotel before saying goodbye to the other sections and heading back home.

See photos of this lovely night here.
