Message From The Director
Welcome to Young Judaea’s Year Course! Since 1956 thousands of people have participated in Young Judaea/FZY Year Course. I too, was a participant on YJ/FZY YC 23 years ago – an experience that changed me for the better, sealed my connection to Israel and shaped the rest of my life ever since.
Having been a chanich (participant) and madrich (counselor) on YC, I am now honored and excited to work for a program that has already given me, and over 6,000 others, so much, and I really look forward to making sure that every present and future Year Courser, has the most incredible educational, meaningful and fun year on the best program available.
We are constantly reviewing the program and looking for ways to provide opportunities and experiences that will enhance your year, that will challenge you and develop you and allow you to meet and surpass all of the expectations that you had before arriving in Israel.
YC is all about shaping lives, building dedicated Zionists, confident Jews, better human beings and the next generation of leaders across the world Jewish community and I am privileged to be working with some great people whose goal is to make this happen every day. We are blessed with the backing of Hadassah and our connection with the Israeli Tzofim, both of whom play such an important role within YC.
Working with present participants as well as past and future YC members, YJ/FZY chaverim and the entire Jewish community, together we will continue making YC the best long term Israel program available.
