Family Tour

Dinner-Pix from Hadassah (18)

Every year, Young Judaea and Hadassah organize a Family Tour for the families of Year Course participants. This guided tour coincides with the December vacation so that participants may join as well. The Family Tour travels extensively through Israel and includes intensive walking tours of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and other cities; trips to the Dead Sea, hiking and more. One of the most rewarding aspects of the tour is the chance to visit sites where Year Course participants may be placed during the year. These visits give families a taste of the Year Course experience. The Family Tour is open to all—parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and is a great experience for first-timers and repeat visitors to Israel.

  • YC Alumni Say:

"Definitely the volunteering. It’s given me an opportunity to volunteer not just as a student government officer from my school, or a member of Hands on Atlanta, but to really have an opportunity to be an individual and seek volunteer opportunities that are personally meaningful to me." – Benjamin Gluck, Atlanta, Ga.
  • YC Alumni Say:

" If there was one word that I would use to describe Year Course in its entirety, it would have to be experience; one huge, unbelievable, once in a lifetime, life-altering experience. " - Jared Balavram, Highland Park , NJ
