Jerusalem Internships
If you thought Israel was all kibbutzim and agriculture, welcome to the 21st century. Israel is a hotbed of technology, medical care, public policy, and more. The Jerusalem Internship section allows you the opportunity to explore the professional world up close and begin to develop a skill set to prepare you for your future.
In contrast to more classic “volunteering” in locations such as elementary schools or soup kitchens, the Jerusalem Internship section allows you to focus on your professional growth before you’ve even stepped onto a college campus.
Thinking about medical school? Perhaps you’d like an inside look at Hadassah Hospital, one of the most cutting-edge medical facilities on the planet. Considering political science? Maybe the JCPA (Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs) or IPCRI (Israel Palestine Center for Research and Information) is for you. Or if you’re pondering about a career in media, you might even get to hear your own voice live on-air at Rusty Mike Radio or Israel Sports Radio.
Other internships include:
- ROI (sponsored by Center for Leadership Initiative): interns aid in preparing for ROI120, a conference which attracts young Jewish innovators from around the world)
- Aleh Residential Facilities: interns work directly with special needs youth, for those seeking experience in education or social work
- And more!
Through the Jerusalem internships, you can expect to see the inner workings of a professional environment, develop a relationship with a supervisor, and gain meaningful experience to make your future resume and program applications stand out from the rest.
